Don't you just hate it when a famous artist copies your work?!
I'm joking... but, what to do now?????????

This was such an (un)happy coincedence. I was so so gutted when I discovered ths becasue I was so happy with the way this was going, and felt I was almost onto my final set up idea. I only bought the blindfold and got fancy headphones from tech today too! I decided to plod along with a little bot more artist research and came across this piece by Alison Carlier. The piece consisted of a spoken description of objects (she has done drawings too)... check! a white plinth... check! a blindfold... check! headphones... mhmmm, check!

Anyway, I've had a little chat with Sarah in the studios, and I'm just going to use this as a bit of a push to develop my idea forwards in another way. Knowing about this now, I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying on with this work knowing that someone else had something exactly the same... No such thing as originality, eh!
